We Shot the Moon have announced that their debut album, “Fear and Love” will be in stores April 29th. While that seems like a year from now, the album will be available to Verizon VCAST customers through the VCAST store on on March 25th (sorry to everyone else who does not have Verizon–including myself).

The band, which includes Jonathan Jones (Waking Ashland), Joe Greenetz (Sherwood), and Dan Koch (Sherwood), released their EP “The Polar Bear and Cougar” back in December (2007). The EP has received outstanding reviews, most of which note the band’s catchiness, sincere lyrics, and pure brilliance.

I’m definitely looking forward to the release of “Fear and Love” simply because We Shot the Moon’s EP was one of the most heartfelt and honest EPs I’ve heard. They have a very genuine quality about them, and if their EP was just a taste of what we are to expect from the new album, then I guess I will have a new favorite record on April 29th!
