I suppose the reason I couldn’t get The Cool Kids out of my mind yesterday is because they actually have a new music video out with Mickey Factz. I especially like this video because it is really stripped down–no vibrant colors or lights, no ridiculous video girls flashing their “goods” on my computer screen…I admire artists that challenge us to really listen to their rhymes and their style, as opposed to having us be hypnotized by all their over the top prouction. I also like how this video is really just them having a good time, without having to partake in all the typical mainstream hip hop video glam (e.g. dancers, special effects, video girls, etc.). In fact, I find it rather clever…What do you guys think though? Are you feeling the video?
