Kid Sister Graduates from Almost A-List

When Almost A-List was starting out, our very first hip hop Spotlight On was on a young, talented lady who knew how to spit out the most wicked rhymes. The first time I listened to her music, I knew she was destined to be an “A-List” artist–she was original, unique, fresh, boss, and just simply phenomenal!

We featured Kid Sister on Almost A-List a little over two months ago, and her rise to fame couldn’t have come any sooner–she has just been nominated for a BET Award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist!

We wanted to congratulate Kid Sister on such an amazing accomplishment! She has graduated from being our favorite “almost a-list” hip hop maven to an actual a-list baller, and we couldn’t be any more proud. We’re hoping she brings the award home!

Cute picture

She totally rocks the crowd every time I’ve seen her… this was from the Fools Gold tour, fall 2007. Kanye’s name recognition no doubt helped her out a bit, but it’s only fair since he owes his entire new sound to her boyfriend, A-Trak.
