While we have been on a minor hiatus this past week, we’re back and ready for summer!
In the summer of 2006, I remember the top songs were “Miss Murder” by AFI and “Crazy” by Gnarls Barkley–these songs were played on every radio station, every MySpace, and on every music countdown you could think of. Last year, as celebs were having a bit of “difficulty” (to say the least), it seemed as though everyone was enjoying (ironically) Amy Whinehouse’s “Rehab” and Boys Like Girls’ “The Great Escape”.
To start things off right, we’re introducing our top 8 songs for the summer of 2008! These are songs that we’ll be listening to nonstop over the next two months, or songs that we feel are going to be a huge hit for that band/artist this summer.
So what’s the first song on our list?
Driver F’s “Two Words, Mr. President: Plausible Deniability”
With their new album, Chase the White Whale, we have a feeling it’s going to be one amazing summer for these guys! Their song, “Two Words, Mr. President: Plausible Deniability,” is catchy and upbeat, and the music video couldn’t have been any more awesome (and hilarious)!
We still have seven more songs on our list! Any songs you’re hoping made the cut?

That’s a really great song. I must not have been paying attention when you featured Driver F before. Or maybe it’s one of those bands that you need to listen to more than once to like it. Thanks.
I’m hoping that Ludo’s “Love Me Dead” makes the list.
