A few months back, we “graduated” Kid Sister from Almost A-List, as she was nominated for best female hip hop artist on the BET Awards. She has held her own and is continuing to climb to the top and we couldn’t be more excited!

By the looks of things, it won’t be long before we have to “graduate” one of our favorite bands from the site…

It’s THEE ARMADA!

That’s right! To help bring things full circle for this week, I was listening to an online radio station at work the other day, and suddenly I hear, “This is a story about some boys from Texxxassss!!!” I tried to maintain my cool, considering my environment, but deep down inside I was jumping for joy. In case you couldn’t tell by our first entry ever, the fact that they’re in our top 8 songs for the summer of ‘08, or our most recent Q&A, we love Thee Armada–a lot. We feel that it will only be a matter of time before these guys become everyone’s new favorite band (as well they should be!), so don’t say we didn’t tell you about them!
