In case you haven’t heard, Yo Gabba Gabba! is the hottest television show on the planet for kids. That’s right, Sesame Street is pretty weak compared to Yo Gabba Gabba!, which just lets you know how fierce this show actually is. I’m definitely jealous that this show was created for today’s kids and not for my childhood, but hey, you’re never too old to watch quality toddler television…
Yo Gabba Gabba! is in its second season and they’re bringing back some of the biggest and baddest names in music to be featured on their show.
The list includes….
The Roots
MGMT
The Ting Tings
Ladytron
Biz Markie
Jimmy Eat World
Mix Master Mike
Mates of State
Hot Hot Heat
Datarock
There’s more to the list, but this is completely wild for a kid’s show, right?! Of course, these artists will be performing special Yo Gabba Gabba! songs or teaching you something super cool. Recently, The Ting Tings performed a cover of Altered Images’ “Happy Birthday”.
So if you’re our age or older and you feel the need to watch Yo Gabba Gabba! just to see your favorite band, don’t be ashamed. Turn your television up loud and dance around your living room like you were four–we probably will be too.
